Christmas 2017

Christmas is all about sharing, giving and caring.

The season brings happiness and delight with hope that comes from believing that all things are possible through this life and in eternity. I wish I had something to say that would change the hearts of those hurting and expressing their sorrow at Christmas. The hurt and pain with loss many feel, that I have witnessed at Christmas time or any time of the year, is something that I, along with many, wish we could erase.

Christmas is about the arrival of Jesus. Remembering what this season truly means will keep us from derailing and going overboard or perhaps even into a negative experience.

Gifts are important and for some, Christmas is about innocent kids secretly staying up all night so they may have a glimpse of Santa eating the cookies mom baked. It’s about opening presents and getting new things to wear and use all new year long. The joy and happiness experienced in giving gifts is a reflection of true Love.

I have personally experienced the love of Christ

And for me, Jesus is the reason for the season. But there are no words that can make someone who is severely depressed; happy in a moment of change. Christmas is about each other, not about competition. It’s the memories we share that last in our minds. However, for those who have lost someone they love, or who have experienced one trial after another in their health, love, wealth or family; the holiday season and Christmas can become overwhelming and even more troubling.

I was once destitute. I felt alone, and lost. I had nothing left. And then Love touched my life. I was humbled when God touched my spirit with the Truth. I recognized my small existence and how selfishness wove a tapestry of trouble; that left me with less than Gods best.

My hope for all people this Christmas is that every individual would understand how much they are loved; and how valuable their life is. That people would have the will to go on and stay positive. Sometimes it takes great loss, to come to the end of ourselves and realize that a simple kind word can change some ones day. And you have a purpose to touch another . For me, at this moment of reckoning; a gift was given.

This is a lot like the Christmas Story.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

My gifting is music. It is the blessing that God revealed to me when I arrived at the end of myself in what felt like the end of my life as I knew it. So, for you my dear loved ones, I give you the gift of music to enjoy and share because MUSIC HEALS. I encourage you to listen to positive music every day. With that said; please listen and share a great collection of spirited new Indie Christmas Music from Big Fuss Records
